From Monday 8th June 2020 we will be changing how the Practice is accessed. We are pleased to say this is due to reducing the size of the Bury St Edmunds Primary Care Network (BSE PCN) HUB which has been used to support patients with Covid-19 symptoms, or those isolating with household members who have had symptoms.
If you are asked to attend an appointment in the HUB this is now accessed via the back fire exit door where further instructions will be provided (please bring your phone).
If you are attending the Surgery for a Nurse or Clinician appointment please use the main front doors where an intercom is provided so you can book in with the a receptionist. For clarity, we are not opening waiting rooms and your appointment will be via telephone or videocall unless you are specifically told otherwise. If you are dropping samples off or collecting paperwork this will be from the main entrance.
Please continue to use e-consult to request Clinician advise or an appointment as this really helps us with triaging workload. This is accessed from the home page of our website (https://www.swansurgery.org.uk/), click “get started” and follow the options through. By doing this you will be able to provide the information the Clinician needs. They will get back to you by the end of the next working day with advice and if necessary details of the next steps which may include a telephone, video consultation or Face to Face appointment.
Dispensary and Pharmacy access is still via their respective windows.
